'Mustafa' tells the sweet short documentary story of a minor refugee who tries to start a new life after a lot of struggles in a small town in Sicily. His adorable personality and love for sewing slowly helps him to grow and get accepted by the Sicilian community.
This documentary was shot in order, amongst other, to create awareness of the minor refugee problem that Italy is facing these days. Together with 'VersPers' and 'Lost in Europe', 21 directors and investigator journalists set off to Sicily to each shoot their own documentary. Once finished, several of these documentaries were broadcasted on national television.
